The 2011 BCS Championship game between the Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks is being played tonight in Glenadale, Ariz. Both teams had perfect 12-0 seasons and both are making their BCS title game debuts.
The No. 1 ranked Tigers are led by Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Cam Newton and head coach Gene Chizik. Oregon, led by running back LaMichael James, averaged 49.3 points per game this year. Both squads won their conferences and each has a very high-scoring offense.
