It's a now a scientific fact. Politicians lie.

Now, for how long have been saying that politicians are criminals and sociopaths? It's gonna get easier and easier folks to weed them right out of our lives. Spy on America

 Glen Newey, from the University of Strathclyde is a political scientist. He has carried out a study that, after extensive research, has bought him to the conclusion that politicians lie.

Newey said to the Observer newspaper: "Politics should be regarded as less like an exercise in producing truthful statements and more like a poker game. And there is an expectation by a poker player that you try to deceive them as part of the game."


He concluded that the less questions people asked a politician the less they would have to lie. He used Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky as an example. Other presidents didn't have to deny such an affair because no-one had asked.
